Weekend Football

All bets to 1pt liability

Lay Liverpool @ 1.47 to win 2.03 pts

Purely a value selection. Bolton have scored 6 in their first 2 games. Liverpool were rubbish in the 2nd half against Sunderland and only really looked like scoring once Arsenal had gone down to 10 men. Kevin Davies is the sort of big, black powerful striker who can give Carragher & Agger plenty of problems.

Wigan to beat QPR @ 2.4

Wigan are surviving in the premier league by winning games like this one. Neil Warnock and his team are on a high after winning at Everton last week and going out the prestigous Carling cup on Tuesday, these could possibly be more QPR fans in the ground due to the whole of Wigan watching the Challenge cup final. But even so i'll take Wigan at 7/5.

Saturday 3pm

West Brom to beat Stoke @ 2.15

Uncle Woy is of course the greatest manager that ever lived. He'll use his 31 years experience in managerment to beat the mug in the baseball cap. West Brom deserved something from both their first 2 games with Man Utd typically getting a double defection off the refs back pocket to win and another deflection gave Chelsea their equilizer last week. Stoke only have 1 goal in their first 2 league games, that being a 93rd min leveller against Norwich, a team that will finish 19th at best.

Derby to beat Burnley @  2.5

Derby 100%  so far in the league and Burnley by all local accounts are shit, also had a game in midweek that went to extra time

Eddie Howe's next job ???

Weekend Football

The directors of KJbetting have come to the decision that all tips will be to equal 1pt stakes. Although this is by no means an ideal strategy it prevents the site going the same way as its' previous incarnation as if there is no bank there can be no full bank jobs if and when i get fed up keeping this record

Arsenal vs Liverpool
A what will be rare bit of analysis, Arsenal should never be 13/8 against a team with a central midfield that includes Charlie Adam. He's like an inferior Scottish version of David Beckham, can take very good free kicks, can pick out a crossfield ball, not a lot else. He just wont cut it for a team with aspirations of getting back in the top 4. Kenny Dalglish* has spent  almost £50 million on midfielders this summer and for my money man for man has not improved the first choice 4.

Lay Liverpool @ 3.1  (to win .46)  LOST
Back Arsenal @ 13/8  (Blue Sq)  LOST
Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5  (Paddy Power, who knows how to advertise)  WON
